What is an IFTA Tax?
The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) is an agreement that enables the member jurisdictions to collect and maintain the taxes related to the fuel usage of motor vehicles.
It simplifies the reporting of the fuel used by motor vehicles that have been used in more than one jurisdiction. An IFTA license holder can file one tax return to report his fuel usage in all the jurisdictions.

How do I pay my IFTA Taxes?
Once you file your IFTA return and have a balance tax due, you will be required to submit your IFTA return along with your tax due. There are two ways for you to pay your IFTA taxes: Credit Card or Electronic Payment (ACH Debit).
What are the penalties for late filing my IFTA Taxes?
If you do not file your IFTA return within the deadline, file an incomplete return, or do not pay the required taxes you will be subjected to penalties. The IFTA legislation imposes a penalty of $50.00 or 10% of the tax dues, whichever is greater.
